Mocking Bird Song

Men of One Accord’s blog is about the topics the men discuss before we pray on Saturday morning. Last    Saturday our discussion was one I believed did not needed to be published on the blog. So I published one of my poems. This Saturday we started a three part discussion, well you are just going to have to wait for two more weeks to find out what it is, or you can join us.   So this week and next I will again leave you with one of my poems.

Mocking Bird Song
Who teaches the mocking bird to sing?
Who chooses the songs he sings?
Who gave him such a voice to sing?
To whom does the Mocking bird sing?
Why does he sing with such Joy?
Why does he sing with such Freedom?
If you listen closely to his songs;
The answer you will soon hear.
The eyes of Jesus are always watching,
Jesus is oh so dear.
Jesus is always teaching,
Jesus will always hear.
Jesus is all providing,
Jesus is my cheer.
Jesus is always caring,
Jesus is drawing near.

  1. Thank you a lot for giving everyone an exceptionally superb chance to check tips from this web site. It really is so nice and full of a great time for me and my office mates to visit your website no less than three times every week to find out the new secrets you have. And of course, I’m also usually astounded considering the effective strategies you give. Certain two facts in this posting are really the very best we’ve ever had.

  2. I enjoy you because of your entire work on this site. My daughter really likes engaging in investigation and it’s simple to grasp why. I learn all about the powerful way you convey very important guidelines through the website and even cause participation from visitors about this content while our favorite daughter is now being taught a great deal. Take advantage of the remaining portion of the year. You have been conducting a glorious job.

  3. Reminder of who Jesus is always needed everyday! You wrapped up the poetry nicely with Jesus is drawing near. My most favorite of the poetry.

    • We have three pairs mocking birds in our yard, I once counted fifteen different songs in less than five minutes from one bird. They start singing before daylight and sing well after dark. The question for me was to whom and why do they sing and so well. Thank-you for the blessing, James

My name is Dwayne Peterkin. I was re-baptized April 2011 and since then I have been doing my best to obey the Lord Jesus Christ and do his will. In this sinful world IT IS NOT EASY to stand up for God. You'll be tested, friendships may fall by the wayside, old habits will fade away. I hope that as I share my Faith Walk, others are encouraged on theirs. I hope you join me on this journey.
