Reading to the Children

I do not know who this person is who shows up to read on Wednesday nights is but he had tears coming from my eyes to night. I had some new faces again tonight the kids were very attentive tonight as read the chapters titled, ” A King is Coming” and “Paid in Full”. Paid in Full ends with Christ Jesus hanging dead on the cross surrounded by a gloomy light with an evil fog.The room was so quiet on could have heard the heart beat of a mouse from across the room. The Children sit in silence until one boy ask can we say the Lord’s Prayer. We prayed softly together and then the children filtered out.

Everyone God Bless you for your support in prayer! Please keep praying for I do not leave Jesus dead on the Cross He is alive and the children will have heard the Good News. Pray that the Holy Spirit woos their hearts to Jesus as the invitation is given.

A New Calling!

There comes a time in every one’s life when God changes their calling in life. After years of working in men’s ministry and working with men about their prayer life and the importance of praying in unity God has placed a new burden upon my heart. Part of it has come from watching my grandchildren growing up and the desire for them to fall in love with Jesus. What I found was I was completing with was this thing called X-box and Harry Potter. I cried out to our Abba is there any way You my Lord can use me to woe these children back to You. The gentle whisper I heard was, “Is there anything in this world more exciting than the truth that is writing in the Bible?” The conformation I found in Joel 1:3

Tell it to your children,

And let your children tell it

to their children,

and their children to the next

generation.

But how became the question I put before the Lord? How do I tell them the old story in a way that comes alive for them? How my Lord How? For five years I prayed use me show me how. I searched Christian Book stores for children books and found most books weak and not too much fun. There where books for younger children from birth to about 8 years of age and book for teens. But the 9 through 12 year olds seem to have been forgotten. One thing I noticed was that the world had not forgotten them the world was out to steal our children away. My heart was broken before the Lord for the children for I did not know how to reach the children. So I kept asking is there any way Lord You can use me?

About three years ago a story began to come to mind I knew how it was to end yet not much more. Again I heard the Lord whisper this time He said, “Just write.”

So with pen and paper I sit down and started to write a little story I could start to tell my grandchildren. That was the birth of Donkey Tells little stories to help my grandchildren fall in love with Jesus.

One day someone gave me a broken down laptop computer that did not even have word and I started to write little devotionals for the men’s prayer group. The guys there said I needed to share what I was writing with more people and they got me to start a blog, and “Men of One Accord” was born.

My heart ache for the children never went away and the prayer to reach them for Jesus became a hunger. One day again the whisper, “Just write.” Write what I ask? “Donkey Tells” was the answer. Abba I can’t spell, the computer does not even have spell check, I almost flunked out of high school, I am dyslexic, I don’t know how. There are so many others out there who know how to write but You have asked me, so I will write.

In about six months time the first rough manuscript was complete and the work of fixing it began. There is no need to go into all the work that was done but on Christmas Eve day I found out

2013 Just a Request?

Well everyone I was given one request from our Abba at the beginning of 2013 that I may not have written about. Abba Father’s desire was for me to bless all who I come into contact with.

 Of course my reply was: I don’t know how, Abba! I am not saying no to you Abba, but I am not sure I even know what it is to bless? What I have leaned is I am still not sure what it is to bless someone. But our Abba has blessed me beyond words this past year. All of you have been a part of the love poured out of heaven to me. Thank-You! 

Abba, With great thankfulness I come before You and bow before Your throne to worship, praise and give thanks for all my brothers and sisters You have placed in my life.  Grateful for brothers and sisters that pray whole heartily for one another and carry one another’s burdens to the cross of the Messiah for each other when the load becomes too heavy to bear. I ask of You my Abba to now open the flood gates of heaven and pour out blessings to everyone in my life and supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May the peace and grace of Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen.

A Christmas Present!

 

Some of you may know that a time back I set aside blogging to devote more time to a project God had given me to do. About five years ago I started to pray for the children for the world is stealing them away, with vile video games, movies, and books like Harry Potter. I asked the Lord if He might use me in some way to woo them back to Jesus. A little more than three years ago our Abba gave me a story to write with one condition Do Not Compromise! So I sat down at a broken down old out dated lap top and started to write what has now become:

Someday I hope to have someone write the story behind the Spiritual Battle that has gone on and is going on to bring this little story to print. This is only the first book in a series of books that will help lead a child to Jesus, help them fall in love with Jesus, help them pass on the Gospel of Jesus, and spend a life time walking with Jesus. This story is:  the Gospel of Jesus told in a way for them to understand. The book is written for children of the ages of 10 t0 12 years of age. I have had the book test read by children of that age and all could not put it down. Some of you out there have read the first manuscript of this book and some of you out there have been of great help to me in this task, Thank-you. I pray that our Abba blesses you greatly and know that you all share equally in the rewards in Christ Jesus.

I was not expecting the book to be released for sale till sometime after the first of the New Year. Late last night I got word the book was released and now is available for purchase. Fear’s Face

I have looked in the face of fear 

many times.

I look at fear’s face

each day.

I have the freewill on how 

to gaze into

fear’s eyes.

Will I choose to runaway to 

another place? 

Hoping not to glimpse 

fear’s scowl!

Might I choose to shrink, back away,

 then vanish?

Desiring an escape of

fear’s leer!

Could I be a silhouette

inside myself?

Cowardly snaking from

 fear’s thunder! 

I have looked in the face of fear 

many times.

I look at fear’s face

each day.

I have the freewill on how 

to gaze into

fear’s eyes.

I choose to fall on my knees

to pray.

As the rising Son melts away

fear’s foundation.

I pick-up my cross and follow the Son

with the Spirit’s 

mighty embrace!

Watching the crumbling of

fear’s stronghold!

I cry out Mighty Mighty is He 

the Lamb of God 

the Lion of Judea 

Who Was and Who Is and

Who Is Forever More! 

Yeshua Messiah!

Humble and meek I choose 

to rejoice as Abba Father whisks away

fear’s dust.

Then replacing stone upon stone building towers

called Faith.

I look at Yeshua’s face

each day.

I have the freewill on how 

to gaze into

Yeshua’s eyes.

I choose to pray at His feet 

where I find

Towers called Faith.

Truth Lingers

In the beginning was the TRUTH,

and TRUTH was with God,

and TRUTH was God.

In a town named Bethlehem,

TRUTH became Flesh

and TRUTH lived among man.

TRUTH LINGERS.

Man nailed TRUTH

to a cross to die,

 sin’s debt was paid in full

about 746,790 days ago

TRUTH LINGERS.

To be forever sealed and guarded

by death in a tomb

the hope of TRUTH

SHOULD BE FORGOTTEN?

After three days pasted

in early mornings twilight

with angel’s blinding light

earthly grave quaked in fear

and death’s door rolled away and

 TRUTH walked out alive,

about 17,922,960 hours ago

TRUTH LINGERS!

Before the cross before the grave:

TRUTH said, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life.

No one comes to the Father 

except through Me.”

Yeshua Messiah spoke these words

about 1,075,377,600 minutes ago

TRUTH LINGERS!

Satan and all the forces of Hell

has declared war on TRUTH,

Hell has murdered,tormented, tortured,

the Saints because of TRUTH to this day and still

TRUTH LINGERS!

When life is like a madhouse,

and disorder is your day remember

TRUTH LINGERS!

When agony and misery beset you,

and you think your living a nightmare remember,

TRUTH LINGERS!

If you find yourself in trials

and facing great tribulation remember,

TRUTH LINGERS!

For TRUTH stated:

“Behold I stand at the door and knock.

If anyone hears My voice and opens the door.

I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,

as I also overcame and sat down

with My Father on His throne.” 

So we could remember
