Prayer Is A Battle
Prayer is a Battle
Prayer is the battlefields upon which we make war with the forces of hell. Satan battles for ruler ship of men’s Christian souls. Satan will do all he can to keep men from Praying in One Accord. In this prayer of unity as in no other way, we encounter the powers of darkness. There is no other way in which men can so greatly influence the physical world in which we live, is by this Prayer of One Accord.
Do you think Satan fears prayer less Bible studies?
Does Satan have any concern for accumulation of Bible knowledge of a prayer less man?
Does prayer less work have any great influence?
Will there be a great rescuing of souls because of prayer less preaching?
How will prayer less religion have any great influence on the physical world except through fear?
What possible danger is prayer less programs to Satan‘s kingdom?
Will searching of ones heart take place in a prayer less life cause panic in Satan?
Have our church buildings become white washed tombs?
Satan laughs at men’s prayer less toil and mocks his human wisdom.
However, Satan dreads and begins to have fits of trembling when two of God’s weakest Saints, men begin to Pray in One Accord.
Let me paraphrase II Chronicles 7:14, according to James; “O men of God if only you could see Satan’s panic, fear, and worry when My men who are called by the name of Jesus, will humble themselves and Pray in Unity of One Accord and seek My face, and turn from their lazy complacent ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.
Paul explains in Ephesians 6:12 we are in a battle with the powers of darkness and goes on to call all men to militant prayer for we are all dependent on prayer.
Galatians 6:2: “Bear on another’s burdens so fulfill the law of Christ.” Men we are to pray for our brothers in Christ, our prayers should not be so overly self-centered for we are all called to a life of servant hood. Our prayer life is for others. Galatians 6:5: “For each one shall bear his own load.” What is my load? It is my brother’s burdens.
Jesus lived and died this example for us. As Jesus was carrying your sins and mine up to Mount Calvary to die, in the spiritual realm Jesus was so heavily burdened with our sins that the weight of His cross became to heavy for Him to bear. Therefore, in the Physical world a man called Simon bore Jesus’ burden so that you and I might be saved. My brothers this is the Prayer of One Accord, this is fulfilling the Law of Christ.
Prayer is a battle for men’s souls.
