Our Veterans

Veterans Day

Today is one of those days I feel very uncomfortable. I am a Marine Veteran. Deep in my Heart I have a longing to be with every Marine that is now standing in Harms Way. Why? They are my brothers. I ask you now to pray for every veteran and every person that is now serving our country. Please thank Our Abba Father for their willingness to lay down their Lives for our Freedom.

Please look at this and let our Lord guide your prayers, Thank-you.

Please Remember Their Sacrifice!

AMEN!

  1. Reblogged this on The Peanut Gallery and commented:
Peanut Gallery: Away from homes and families in far away places with strange sounding names-serving with courage, honor and commitment. Thank you.

  2. I will pray for the Veterans!

  3. Lord, can I take this time to pray for every wounded soldier and their families
As no one really understands Their trauma, a reality far from what we can imagine.

Let there be light, hope and healing to all service men who love there country
Heal them, their sanity that every testamony will become ministry.

Remember today my brother who posted this important message for the sake unity and one accord.
    Amen.

  4. In this morning’s service I took the time to remind us all of the numbers. Starting with the Civil War, I went through the major conflicts telling the number of Americans who died in combat. It was shocking for some to learn that over 400,000 died in WW2, alone. I reminded my church that freedom is free. And, instead of having our veterans stand to be recognized, I had them remain seated. We stood and honored them.

Thank you for your service, my friend.

    • Pastor Anthony, You may have no idea on how grateful I am for you to call me friend, for I have caused so much damage in my life. Pray for me that I never again cause any harm to anyone all the days the rest of my life. Thank-you for honoring fellow veterans. Thank-you for your love and bless you, James

    • When the youngest boy came home from Iraq, we sit down for coffee he Said I understand you more now Dad.
I ask do you want to talk about it? He said no.
He then ask me do want talk about It? He asking about my time in.
I said no there is nothing to talk about.
He then ask How do you live with It?
I said only by grace. We cried.

  6. Hi James, I was just reading through some of your older posts. Thank you for this, my son is also a Marine. He will be getting out in June and has done two tours in Afghanistan. Thank you for your service and to all those who have served and are serving in all branches of our Military, Thank you, God Bless you all and keep you safe!!
