God’s Love!

This week there has been a lot of post about Love so here is a little something I have found on the subject:

GRAMDMA’S PRAYER!

A few years after I was saved my Aunt gave me my Grandma’s Bible sometime around the year of 1997. I placed it on a shelf and forgot about it. My Grandma died in 1970 and that is when I started to live the wild life. She was the grandmother on my mother’s side the one who I was raised by, and that is a story for another day.

In 2001 I was going through some hard times and was trying to figure out what my place was in God’s Kingdom. So I got Grandma’s Bible out and started to look through it and found this note. It was a note to me and it was written out on a note paper. Maybe to be written later on the back page of her Bible but she never got around to doing so. I called my Aunt and ask her if she knew about the note. She  did not and confirmed that Grandma would often write out things on scrap paper before she would later write them someplace later. My Aunt told me the Lord laid it heavy upon her heart that I needed to have Grandma’s Bible.

When I think that back in 1966 Abba had my Grandma write to me words of encouragement that I would need in 2001, is mind-blowing.

The note reads:

Dear Jimmy, I will sign my name back here. So you can always remember your Grandma. I hope Jimmy you will always serve the Lord. I will pray for you. Do what the Lord would have you do.

John, 3:14-16 Sept. 25, 1966

Grandma’s prayer is still being answered to this day as she now worships around the Throne of our Abba Father, Amen.

Looking for a Fight!
