I Have Noticed!

I have noticed in my life when God asks me to do some task, I do not have the ability or the talent to do this task!Β

Take for instance the building of an ark for a great flood now that would have been no great problem for me to do. But God picked Noah a man who never even seen a hammer before to do the job. I on the other hand am a very good builder and I am sure I could have done the job in half the time and with many great improvements in God’s design of the ark.

But God has ask me to write a task I have no talent in. When I think back I was eleven years of age before I could even spell my name. But God loves me so much and I love him so I could never say no! Then there is the children that have never heard of His love for them someone must tell them. Again another task I have no talent to do yet I could not say no to our Lord who loves them too.

I just want you all to know if any good comes from the words I place upon the page it is not I who is good but only the Great I AM who deserves the Praise.

  1. Amen. I tell people all the time, “The Lord writes it, I only hold the pen.”

  2. I feel the same way, writing is not really something I feel I do well or have talent for either. I spell things wrong have terrible grammar and well my skills in punctuation …well you’ve read my blog so I am sure you get the point πŸ˜€ I write because I used to put a bunch of stuff down in journals and one day God said ‘put it out there for the public.’ A scary thought at first but now I have realized its not so bad, and He has it under control.
If God gives you a job all you have to do is show up and He will be right there to take care of the rest.
I am glad you showed up James, I’ve learned a lot from the words he gives you which by the way if you say you don’t have talent then it must be all Him because it looks very well done from the reader’s point of view.

  3. I’ve always found it fascinating that in scripture God tells us anything he asks us to do, he’ll equip us for.

I love reading & writing. I’ve been doing both since I can remember. In 2009, He instructed me to start a blog. Even at that time, blogging was a “well-established” activity on the Internet; but it was something I’d never done. So, I scoffed about it that day & put the idea out of mind, for almost 3 yrs! Until God sent ANOTHER confirmation. Now, here I am. I don’t often FEEL worthy to write, but I step out anyway. He makes me ready in the moments of doubt.

God Blesses us for doing as he asks..& I in his Super-Naturalness He always notices!

    Have a wonderful Sunday!

  4. Inspired words full of truth, obedience and humility! Very well stated! Like the blessed Mother Mary said: “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. (Luke 1:38) If we only listen closely in prayer and follow Mary’s example.
