Random Faces!
As I stood upon the mountain side
I saw clouds gathering
The angry storm lungs filling
For the onset of
A gruesome howl,
Lighting striking
Sin’s crushing smirk,
A cold cryptic shadow
Crept near a nation’s heart.
Random faces
Wrathfulness, Ravenous, Outrage
Consuming a nation into
Hell’s damming bowels,
Who could hold the torch
The truth of God’s Light?
Is there not one?
Has the evil darkness won?
~
As I stood upon the mountain side
I retreated to the shadow
Of my Abba Father’s Heart
Where death fears to go.
Crying out
Come Holy Spirit
With Your grace
Leading
Random Faces
Of the blind, of the deaf, of the lost,
To Your
Holy Refuge at the
Foot of the Cross.
Well the grandson has not completed his part of the challenge, and may never for as he expressed Papa you are the writer and I am one who draws and paints, with pencil and brush. You Papa paint with words placed skillfully on the page.
Well then my dear child paint and draw for me “Random Faces” and I shall place with them these words.
