Mouth to Mouth Prayer!

I reported to you last Thursday night about how the reading on Wednesday went. I wrote about one boy who is a little older than the rest of the group was causing a bit of a disruption during the reading. Today after church the father of the young lad came up to me and said that I was really getting to his son. If any of you out there have read Donkey Tells you know the last four chapters of this book is very powerful. I will be reading these last four chapters over the next two weeks in these chapters is the Gospel. The Gospel that changes lives forever. I came home from church today and set aside the rest of the day to prayer and to be still before the Lord.

I will try to capture what our Abba expressed to me: Yeshua spoke, “There shall be a harvest,” but asked, “What if there is only one child?”

I replied, “May I pray for the ten, for the ninety and nine or even the thousands?”

Yeshua spoke, “ Pray. What if there is only one lost sheep? Will you still go where I tell you? Will you still write all the stories I ask of you? Will you travel to the ends of the earth for just the one? If you never see the harvest will you still go all the way for only the one?”

I replied, “I was that one! How can a man such as I say no, my Abba?”

Yeshua spoke, “I am sending you for the one. You do not have time to count the harvest my Father keeps the books. I am sending you for the one, do not make the mistake of those before you by counting the harvest.”

I replied, “I understand.”

I ask of you my sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus to pray for the harvest that the Holy Spirit is poured out upon the hearts of the children all around the world. As much as I would love to tell that ten, one hundred, or even a thousand children were saved today I will not. I do not have the time to look back and count the Harvest. My heart is being poured out for the one lost lamb.

Now may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, Amen.

Wednesday’s Night Reading

Tonight’s reading had a few more children than the first time and a little more of Satan showed up. There was a few more disruptions and one of the new boys, he was acting out. Sometimes when one throws a rock into a pack of wild dogs the one who yelps the loudest is the one who got hit with the rock! The Gospel is like throwing rocks at a pack of wild dogs sometimes you never know which dog is going to get it!

Thank-you all so very much for your prayers the harvest is coming.  God Bless!

Another First!

I was invited tonight (June 11, 2014) to read “Donkey Tells, A Promise Kept” to a group of kids ages 10 to 12. Some of you out there who know me understand that me reading aloud is not a gift I have.  In fact I would rather have all my finger nails pulled off with pliers than read to anyone aloud. With dyslexia, my A.D.H.D. and my poor reading ability, it makes it so no one   can understand the story line at all. But God made it clear He wanted me to do this and I went as I was call.

My prayer was simple, “Lord it is time for James to disappear. Take my tongue my lips and my voice and take all of me and use my body for Your glory. Maybe let this guy called J Thomas who wrote the book do the reading. Abba, You know I do not have the ability to do this but You do. Amen

I was taken to this room where I was introduced to about twenty boys and girls about an equal number of each.  The leader then stepped back out of sight and I had no idea how to begin. I gather them all in close in a circle about me and we talked. We talked about fear and struggles they have, being dyslexic, and having A.D.D.  I then ask, “Has God ever ask you to do something so hard that you knew no way I can do that?” I told them all through the Bible, God was always asking people to something they could not do on their own ability. I ask do you think God still asks people today to do something they cannot do. I told them about Donkey Tells and how God told me to just write and ask them if they would like me to read some of it to them.

I was not the reader tonight this other person in my body showed up. He read with excitement he read with voices of the characters and all the kids were amazed all the way through first chapter. The kids asked for more the leader said go ahead read the next chapter. Half way through the second chapter one of the boys acted a little silly and it caught my attention and I stop reading. Another boy yelled at him asking, “Why did you do that for? He is A.D.D. they see everything and he may never find his place in the book again.” I smiled, found my place and finished the chapter.  I spent the next hour hanging out with them getting to know them and letting them know me.

I have been asked to come back and finish reading the book to them I will be with them the next three weeks. As some of you know Donkey Tells is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Good News. Near the end of the book it even gives one the opportunity to be saved.

Please my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus if there is only one child in this group who does not know Jesus pray that the Holy Spirit woos them to be saved. Pray that all the children’s lives grow in the love of Jesus, pray that J Thomas is filled with the Holy Spirit for the Glory of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank-you and God Bless, Amen.

Suspended Children

Who are the suspended Children?

You see them every day, they are all around you.

These children are the children who do not know Jesus!

All around you in this country in your neighborhood are children 9 to 12 years of age who do not know Jesus. There may even be a suspended child in your home. These children do not know what sin is and they do not know Hell is a real place. These children are suspended above the flames of Hell waiting for you to teach them about the wages of sin. Romans 6:23; “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.”

You and I who say that we are followers of Christ have been given a commission by Jesus: Mark 16: 15-16; “And He said (Jesus) to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to EVERY creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved: he who does not believe is condemned.”

Our world is the people living around us these are the ones we are to teach the Gospel. In my thinking our Abba Father Wants to move among the people of the world again and wants to embrace the children of the United States. In the past when there was a move of God it has been a move in the younger people in this nation. I think back to Jesus people of 1960’s it was the young people touched by Jesus and the way we did church in America has been changed forever. The movement came about by one man with a burden and a prayer to reach the hippies. Young people the hippies had emptiness in their hearts and were searching for something to fill the void.

One day my heart became so burdened for children, it may have been after one of the school shootings, hearing about children having sex at the age of ten with one another, or even after seeing the lines of children waiting to buy the new Harry Potter book. Children are exposed to so much emptiness these days my heart broke, so I prayed. For about three years I prayed for the children. God gave me Donkey Tells, simply said, Donkey Tells is the Gospel of Jesus Christ told to children for the ages of 9 to 12 year old.

With all the disasters happening in this country as of lately I found myself in the book of Joel. Joel used the disasters to call the people to repent. I am not saying that the disasters in our country are judgments of God. One verse jumped out at me Joel 1:3;

Tell your children about it

Let you children tell their

And their children another

God created donkeys to come alongside of man to help him carry the loads in life that were too heavy to be carried by him. Suspended donkeys are books that help you and are sent out for the suspended children to introduce them to Jesus. “Donkey Tells, A Promise Kept” is the gospel of Jesus Christ in words that anyone can understand. Donkey Tells is a tool to help anyone show a child the love of Jesus. Donkey Tells is a tool to open the door to teach a child about Jesus.

Children Only Know

What YOU

Teach Them!

A suspended book is a book that is bought for a child who does not know Jesus. Maybe you buy one book for yourself and another for the little trouble maker next door.

I am also looking for away to give a book to every child who has fallen into hard times. I wish to give a Suspended Donkey to foster care children, homeless children, any child in need, and all suspended children over the flames of HELL. Donkey Tells, is a donkey that comes alongside and carries them to the loving arms of Jesus.

Jesus said, “Let the Little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for such is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 19:14

Again a task before me has been given of which I do not know how to do. Again to our Abba I shall not be saying no. Yet to you my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus I am asking you to be of One Accord with me telling the children of the world about the Love of Jesus? I would love to hear your input on how we shall do this task. I have some ideas yet I believe many of you out there may have better ideas than I. Let us be the ones to introduce the Children to Jesus and His love for His glory forever and ever, Amen.

If you do not wish to leave your comment here or idea I can be reached at

This post shall also be posted as a new page also, Thank-you everyone and God Bless.

Quote of the month from Winnie the Pooh:

My spelling is wobbly.

It’s good spelling but it wobbles

and the letters get in

the wrong places!

Oh Pooh Bear I just know how you feel my spelling  also wobbles!

This post is just to tell everyone Men of One Accord will be shutting down for some time for I shall be moving to Knoxville Tn. It is a little over 700 mile move and I am not sure now long I shall be without internet. I will try to keep up with you all out there as I use my laptop in wi-fi hot spots to read your posts and email. May I ask of you to keep my wife and I in your prayers as we make this move as our Abba places us upon your hearts.

When Men of One Accord returns it shall be in a new city answering a new calling of God in my life. I know I shall still be in men’s prayer groups but now writing for the souls of our children. As the prophet Joel called out to his people to repent I too cry out so that our children may learn of the love of Jesus.

Joel 1:3

Tell it to your children,

and let your children tell it

to their children,

and their children to the next

May the love of Jesus fill you to overflowing, may His peace surround you, and in your weakness may you rest in His loving arms, Amen.

A New Calling!

There comes a time in every one’s life when God changes their calling in life. After years of working in men’s ministry and working with men about their prayer life and the importance of praying in unity God has placed a new burden upon my heart. Part of it has come from watching my grandchildren growing up and the desire for them to fall in love with Jesus. What I found was I was completing with was this thing called X-box and Harry Potter. I cried out to our Abba is there any way You my Lord can use me to woe these children back to You. The gentle whisper I heard was, “Is there anything in this world more exciting than the truth that is writing in the Bible?” The conformation I found in Joel 1:3

Tell it to your children,

And let your children tell it

to their children,

and their children to the next

But how became the question I put before the Lord? How do I tell them the old story in a way that comes alive for them? How my Lord How? For five years I prayed use me show me how. I searched Christian Book stores for children books and found most books weak and not too much fun. There where books for younger children from birth to about 8 years of age and book for teens. But the 9 through 12 year olds seem to have been forgotten. One thing I noticed was that the world had not forgotten them the world was out to steal our children away. My heart was broken before the Lord for the children for I did not know how to reach the children. So I kept asking is there any way Lord You can use me?

About three years ago a story began to come to mind I knew how it was to end yet not much more. Again I heard the Lord whisper this time He said, “Just write.”

So with pen and paper I sit down and started to write a little story I could start to tell my grandchildren. That was the birth of Donkey Tells little stories to help my grandchildren fall in love with Jesus.

One day someone gave me a broken down laptop computer that did not even have word and I started to write little devotionals for the men’s prayer group. The guys there said I needed to share what I was writing with more people and they got me to start a blog, and “Men of One Accord” was born.

My heart ache for the children never went away and the prayer to reach them for Jesus became a hunger. One day again the whisper, “Just write.” Write what I ask? “Donkey Tells” was the answer. Abba I can’t spell, the computer does not even have spell check, I almost flunked out of high school, I am dyslexic, I don’t know how. There are so many others out there who know how to write but You have asked me, so I will write.

In about six months time the first rough manuscript was complete and the work of fixing it began. There is no need to go into all the work that was done but on Christmas Eve day I found out

“Donkey Tells”

“A Promise Kept”

Donkey Tells was released for sale to the world, the best price to buy the book is through Amazon  just go to the books and type in donkey tells by j thomas. I have about four more books to write that will walk you through the life of this little donkey. Oh by the way I know how the last book ends all I have to do is fill in the rest. I only have one review to show you about the book for now. If any of you out there have read the book would please add your comments? Thank-you!

Donkey Tells is a delightful, fresh new look at several very familiar and much-loved accounts from the Bible. J Thomas writes for the 9-11 years old, but reaches the heart of any age, for he tells his tale from a different and unusual perspective. Donkey Tells is a story of Micah, the littlest of donkeys who loves to romp and play. His favorite sport is to tease humans and play his donkey games. But Micah soon finds that, although life can be fun and play, there is serious work to be done, for Jesus has chosen him for the most special task of all. As Micah’s mother lovingly recounts to him the honorable and heroic history of his ancestors, Micah’s calling becomes clear, but will he has the courage to answer the call? Can he conquer his fears or will they conquer him? Find the answers to these questions and fill a child’s heart with new wonder, or find the child inside of you and read the story again, for the first time!
Donkey Tells is more than entertainment, it teaches many important Biblical truths, such as salvation, faithfulness, courage and trust. A special book for your favorite kid

A Christmas Present!

Some of you may know that a time back I set aside blogging to devote more time to a project God had given me to do. About five years ago I started to pray for the children for the world is stealing them away, with vile video games, movies, and books like Harry Potter. I asked the Lord if He might use me in some way to woo them back to Jesus. A little more than three years ago our Abba gave me a story to write with one condition Do Not Compromise! So I sat down at a broken down old out dated lap top and started to write what has now become:

Donkey Tells

A Promise Kept!

donkey tails-1

Someday I hope to have someone write the story behind the Spiritual Battle that has gone on and is going on to bring this little story to print. This is only the first book in a series of books that will help lead a child to Jesus, help them fall in love with Jesus, help them pass on the Gospel of Jesus, and spend a life time walking with Jesus. This story is:  the Gospel of Jesus told in a way for them to understand. The book is written for children of the ages of 10 t0 12 years of age. I have had the book test read by children of that age and all could not put it down. Some of you out there have read the first manuscript of this book and some of you out there have been of great help to me in this task, Thank-you. I pray that our Abba blesses you greatly and know that you all share equally in the rewards in Christ Jesus.

I was not expecting the book to be released for sale till sometime after the first of the New Year. Late last night I got word the book was released and now is available for purchase. To our Lord our Abba Father I give all praise and Thanksgiving for He alone has made this book happen. May I give to you under the pen name of J Thomas:

The Boat’s Journey -Mary Pacis

March 7 2013

Verse 1:

The boat drifts away and I don’t know when she’ll come back home,

or if she’ll come back at all…

Don’t know if she’ll come back broken as she passes by the water fall.

Pre- Chorus:

And I pray that she’ll be safe as she journey’s through the waves,

through the storms, and through the big giant caves.

And even though the boat might sink from all the troubles and the pain,

I hope that she remembers her maker’s name…

Oh Boat where’d you go? ‘Cause I really need you home, I need to tell the world about the light.

Oh Boat where’d you go? ‘Cause I really need to roam, around the world to share the light.
