PRAYER REQUEST – My Dad

Anytime there is a call to prayer may the Men of One Accord bend their knees, Amen

A DEVOTED LIFE

To all my friends from A Devoted Life:

I would greatly appreciate prayers from you all.

My Dad is critically ill and in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital.  He has a gangrene infection in his gall bladder.  He is too ill for them to operate and remove his gall bladder.  We were just told that he is on life support and is experiencing organ failure of the kidneys and heart.  We understand that due to low blood pressure there may be other organ damage.

My Dad has loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for as long as I can remember.  He is the one that showed me what it looks like to truly love God.  His destination is assured.  Yet, we selfishly desire to keep him with us and earnestly desire our Lord to heal the infection within his body and restore his health.

We serve the King of kings and Lord…

2013 Just a Request?

Well everyone I was given one request from our Abba at the beginning of 2013 that I may not have written about. Abba Father’s desire was for me to bless all who I come into contact with.

Of course my reply was: I don’t know how, Abba! I am not saying no to you Abba, but I am not sure I even know what it is to bless? What I have leaned is I am still not sure what it is to bless someone. But our Abba has blessed me beyond words this past year. All of you have been a part of the love poured out of heaven to me. Thank-You!

Abba, With great thankfulness I come before You and bow before Your throne to worship, praise and give thanks for all my brothers and sisters You have placed in my life.  Grateful for brothers and sisters that pray whole heartily for one another and carry one another’s burdens to the cross of the Messiah for each other when the load becomes too heavy to bear. I ask of You my Abba to now open the flood gates of heaven and pour out blessings to everyone in my life and supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May the peace and grace of Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen.

A Request For Prayer?

I received this request for prayer in my comments and replied that I would pass on the request through my blog. I was so deeply moved in the Spirit it took me some time before I could even  write to ask for others to pray. Yes this request is not from a country were one is free to worship Yeshua. These are the words that were in the comment:

dear men of one accord plz put us up in your prayers this day as the devil is attacking us from all sides the guarding angels are and will continue to be with us all but your prayers will also help. if two or more are gathered in his name jesus will oversee us and thru our most difficult times as the mission here grows the monetary parts are expanding too plz pray for a big blessing of monies to help in our daily operations and to give us a renewed sense of responsibility with our work in the field here. god bless u all and thank u in advances for all ur help

Thank-you all for joining with me in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Yeshua our Messiah.

HUNGER!

My hunger for prayer is

not to be my religious ritual

I crave a relationship with

Yeshua ben Yahweh

I yearn for colloquy

mouth to mouth with

the Great I AM!

I pine to huddle on

my Messiah’s chest

to attend the symphony

 Heart Beat of Immanuel!

I am famished to

cast my eyes upon the eyes

of the Bright and Morning Star

revealed Glory and Grace!

Malnourished my will melts away

to feast on the banquet

of the Bread of Life

the Will of my Abba Father!

AMEN.

BE STILL and WAIT and KNOW!

I have come back to this page again

to see if words of light dance!

I have two other tasks that beckon

to me come and toil for them.

Yet Men of One Accord awaits

for some new words of light.

I find no new prose

nor a vision of a poem

is in my sight.

So now is this my time to wait?

A time to contemplate?

So is this the time to be still

 and know?

Yes, Yes my mind is

really, really blank!

But to be still and wait

and know?

Yahweh is your God.

So be Still and Wait

and Know.

Brothers and sisters in Christ this me trying to tell you that God has added to the calling in my life. I have two new task that has been set before me to do. One I have been working on for sometime the other is a door that has opened to me. Both task are demanding more of my time and I do not fill free to elaborate on them. The first project I have worked for some time is now moving ahead and I need to spend more time with it fine tuning. The other is a new door that has just open to me a new territory where I have never been before. I will also be keeping up on men’s prayer groups as I am needed there. I follow a lot of blogs and I will still keep following them and may even add more to my list. One thing I do need to do is to slow down on my posting and I am really having a hard time writing new post.

I want to thank every one of you who follows Men of One Accord  from my heart. I love all your comments, your blessings, and encouragement you have brought into my life. Please keep me in your prayers for I will need more of our Abba’s wisdom to discern  the loving truthful words of Christ with all the new people God is bring into my life. I need your prayers for boldness to proclaimed in the gentleness caring concerns of Christ for their souls.

May the joy of the Lord be with you and the peace that passes all understanding be your resting place. May all who see you be greeted with the love of Christ that is in you. I pray that rivers of blessings flow out of heaven and deep into your souls so that all who meet you has seen the Face of Christ the hope in you, Amen.

Quotes on Prayer! XII

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

The most eloquent prayer is the prayer through hands that heal and bless. The highest form of worship is the worship of unselfish Christian service. The greatest form of praise is the sound of consecrated feet seeking out the lost and helpless.

Billy Graham

Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but shall be the miracle.

Phillips Brooks

Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.

Victor Hugo

Good Shepherd and Guardian of our souls, we adore You. We adore You in Spirit and in Truth. Let us not lose heart, except to make more room for You in our hearts. Amen.

St. Francis of Assisi

Prayer is striking the winning blow. Service is gathering up the results.

S. D. Gordon

Prayer should never be an excuse for inaction. Nehemiah prayed, but he also set guards for protection. He used common sense. As a result, what had not been done in a hundred years’ time was finished in fifty-two days.

Corrie ten Boom

Nothing is so costly, so exorbitant, so extortionate, as that which is bought by prayer. While, on the other hand, nothing is so truly and everlastingly enriching as that which is gotten and held by prayer, and by prayer alone.

Alexander Whyte

The answer to a prayer request may indeed be long-delayed, but there is no delay at all in an answer to the prayer itself. When we cry out there is immediately an answer speedily God rushes to help. The answer may be the squeeze of the Father’s hand on ours, the quiet comfort of the Father’s voice, the reassurance of the Father’s presence even though the stresses and pressures are still evident.

Emilie Barnes

The end we ought to propose to ourselves is to become, in this life, the most perfect worshipers of God we can possibly be, as we hope to be through all eternity.

Brother Lawrence, a sixteenth-century monk

Somebody once said God feeds the sparrow, but God never throws the food in the nest. Christ like men, who are wise never make prayer a substitute for work, nor work an excuse not to pray.

Quotes on Prayer! VI

Quotes of wisdom from the saints of the past I pray that their lessons learned may be applied to my heart and yours, Amen.

It is wonderful the effect of a single verse of Scripture when the Spirit of God applies it to the soul. What power would come upon the soul if we would grasp a single line of Scripture and suck the honey out of it till our soul is filled with sweetness.

C. H. Spurgeon

But what does asking for the Kingdom mean? A Kingdom is the domain of a King. Praying for God’s Kingdom to come is, more than anything else, asking for His rule or governance to be released into a situation. Whether it be for a nation, a city, an organization, a home, or an individual, when we ask for the Kingdom we are saying, “God, would You come and rule in this affair?” And when God’s rule is manifested, all is well.

Dutch Sheets

If a church prays in unity and are of one accord that church will never become a drifting ghost ship manned with dead man’s bones.

 Thomas

O Almighty God, who hast built thy Church upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the head corner-stone; Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their doctrine, that we may be made a Holy Temple acceptable unto Thee. Amen

Book of Common Prayer

When Jesus uttered the simple request to His Father, “ Thy Kingdom come,” He was not only thinking of the Messianic Kingdom, but also implied that He was inviting Him to establish His Kingdom in the hearts and lives of men.

W. Phillip Keller

God never ceases to speak to us, but the noise of the world without and the tumult of  our passions within bewilder us and prevent us from listening to Him.

Francois Fenelon

The sooner I forget myself in the desire that He may be glorified, the richer will the blessing be that prayer will bring to myself.

Andrew Murray

As you read through the Bible, write down in your journal every time God asks a question. As you go through your day, try to answer that question, with words and actions.

Mark Buchanan

Lord, there are times when I am so busy sending panic memos off to You that I fail to discern Your voice assuring me that Your Grace is sufficient.

A. W. Tozer

They who have steeped their souls in prayer

Can every anguish calmly bear.

Please Pray for Purple?

Many of have read about Purple in my post “Giving Baby Jesus for Christmas” if not I give a link at the end. Right now Purple needs our prayers her health is deteriorating not only that she has to endure many things many of us never shall. She is watched 24/7 by two woman staff who are not godly woman. They pick what is on TV and Purple has to sit with her back to the TV. Purple has never been to church and is not permitted to go. Purple has never sung a worship song. Purple has never worshiped with other believers. Purple has no fellowship. The only thing she has is her Bible and someone dropping in now and them with words of encouragement. She is doing the best she can I do not have much access to her anymore. Please Pray For Purple? Thank-you and God Bless.

More Of Jack’s Love List

Many people have asked, some people have asked, well at least one person has asked for more of my scribbles out of Jack’s love list.

1.) How many times have you ever been told by someone all you need is more faith? Does not everyone need more faith? In good times we need more faith in hard times we need more faith, then what is one really asking for? What one is asking for is for someone to come alongside and pray with them not at them. For in the prayer of One Accord our faith becomes greater than a mustard seed. What then happens when FAITH is GREATER than a mustard seed?

2.) The importance of praying in unity cannot be overstated as a Big Contributing Factor in seeing answer to prayers. There is power in unity because our Abba Father strengthens our Faith as He joins our hearts in One Accord. In this act of obeisance our Abba Father strengthens the individuals personal walk Christ. Acts 2:1

3.) When praying alone I can sometimes become discouraged and give up too soon. Praying with other men forces me to verbalize my needs and teaches us how to allow others to share our burdens. In this WE gain strength, encouragement, and faith, each time we hear others praying for us. The Prayer of One Accord opens up a wonderful flow of God’s blessings, power, love, and grace into our lives.

4.) One of the things most men of todays church do not have is a conviction about is the war going on in the Spiritual Realm. Men need to be unified in believing that the Spiritual Realm is real, and they have a place of privileged, authority, and access in it. When men recognize they can make a very real insurgence into this Spiritual Realm, they believe with greater faith.

5.) Worship is a form of prayer, and in prayer we worship, seeing power in our prayer begins and is in our worship.

6,) One of the most important things I have learned about being in a Spiritual Family is finding power in prayer through unity.

7.) How do I truly intercede for people and situations? Could it be the Bride of Christ praying in One Accord?

8.) Breaking down of the denominational barriers starts with men like you and I praying together for unity in the Body  of Christ. Men of all cultures, races, and denominations that become united in prayer to bring down the strongholds of Satan will see Thy Kingdom Come.

9.) For most men there is a vast ignorance about the ways of prayer. Proof! Is seen in the industrialize production of books on the subject of prayer in the modern and ancient  church. These books line the shelves of the book store and most have been written by women. Where have all the men gone?

10.) Abba Father, I , James who is a nobody and a sinner, can you use me? Will You use me as an instrument to break down all the attitudes of hatred, animosity, separation, and disrespect, toward races and other denominations. Abba help me to see each man as Your most favorite child, Amen

No Man’s Land

No Man’s Land

At war in the trenches

a call came to climb out

to step into No Man’s Land.

Climb out and expose ones self

to open ground

and the free fire

of all hell’s fury.

Who has the faith to go?

Free Will is given to all,

Will any answer Yeshua’s Call?

Will there be any men like David?

Is my heart filled with enough love

to answer Yeshua’s call?

Hell’s fear is the bombardment

I call upon faith for the engagement.

With a marines’ cry I answer,

I will leave the trench

I will stand up to Hell’s fire.

For I am nothing

Yeshua is my everything.

If I fall under hell’s retaliation

Yeshua is glorified.

When I have crossed this

 No Man’s Land

 victoriously,

Yeshua is glorified.

For I am nothing,

Yeshua Messiah is my Everything.

I fastened on the cartridge belt of Truth,

with the flack-jacket of Righteousness in place,

combat boots of Preparation laced tight,

strapping on my helmet of Salvation,

picking up the shield of Faith.

A shield tied to my arm

By Yeshua Himself

so it could not be removed.

With the sword of the Spirit unsheathed

the word of Jehovah,

I prayed as I stepped out

to Stand into this No Man’s Land

many followed.

As the first volley of Satan’s

fiery tracer rounds rained down,

Many fell under Hell’s assault,

many more ran back to the trench.

The gloomy shadow of death

tried to gather darkness,

to obscure Yeshua’s blazed path.

Lakes of Fire cannons belched  brimstone,

 sulfur mortars launched,

many turned and ran to

return to the trench.

 Of Yeshua’s marines many fell,

many stood and advanced,

in this No Man’s Land

Yeshua is glorified.

Shields of faith now inflamed,

 knees grow weak,

backs start to give way,

a marine’s strength is almost gone.

Messiah’s steadfast hand,

reaches down to carry

those who are weak.

Almost across this life’s

No Man’s Land

His Truth I still wear

about my waist,

His Righteousness is still tightly fastened,

across my chest

His Preparation His Gospel

has been my every boot step,

His Salvation is

my helmet soon shall be a crown,

His faithfulness has been

my shield of Faith,

The Holy Spirit

the true sword of Jehovah

the true word

which shall never be

nor can be sheathed.

Hear this marine’s cry!

I have left the trench

I will still stand against Hell’s fire,

for I am nothing,

Yeshua is my everything.

If I fall before I take these last steps,

Yeshua is glorified.

My life in this No Man’s Land

is lived for Yeshua

only to see Him glorified.

For all I want to be is a Nothing,

so Yeshua could be my Messiah.

For Yeshua Messiah

has walked across this

No Man’s Land

before me,

Yeshua be glorified

AMEN.

This poem was part of my prayer today, I know many will not understand where I am coming from in this prayer. What is going on is the spiritual warfare here is in full blaze. The place I work for is in trouble and many have lost their jobs, I could lose mine anytime. That does not scare me nor the fact of loosing everything. I have lost all two times before and God has always cared for me. Many are watching me and hoping that I fall under the pressure of this little problem.

What my life is about is prayer and praying for others, I have been blessed beyond my dreams as I prayed for others.  I very seldom ask for prayer for myself, yet today I am asking you now to pray for me. Pray I stay obedient, and boldly proclaim the Gospel in love and truth. I cannot write a clear picture of all that is going on here without betraying others confidence. Pray for me my heart is heavily burdened:

Galatians, 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
